If you buy a used wardrobe, you will likely need to invest some money in getting it fixed up. Most people will slowly damage or wear out their wardrobe over the years of use, and you will find that your cheap wardrobes may need some repair work done to it. However, the cost of the repairs will be minimal compared to the money you saved.
French style wardrobes. The French style takes on a complicated and detailed look, more intricate than any other wardrobe style. French white wardrobes usually feature a detailed pelmet, carved woodwork on the doors and ornatley carved feet. Part of the French style is to also have a distressed and worn painted finish on the wardrobe. This makes it look more historic and antique, so don`t, get confused and think it is damaged!
The best thing about the flat pack wardrobe is that it is very economical. You really do not have to spend thousands of dollars just to have a multi purpose wardrobe in your room. With the right decision, you can have the most perfect wardrobe that can hold all of your clothing. Organizing will also be easier when you choose this kind of wardrobe.
Shaker style wardrobes. The Shaker style takes on a more simplistic form than other wardrobe designs. However when this wardrobe is painted white it can really spice it up. The white Shaker wardrobe looks great with its simple design and thin wooden legs. This style can easily fit into most bedrooms as it is, it won`t, overpower your other bedroom furniture either. Another positive with Shaker wardrobes is that they are usually the cheaper style of white wardrobes.
Integrated or built-in bedroom wardrobes tend to be the most efficient users of space, and can of course be made uniquely to your requirements and taste. They fit your room, architecture, and so therefore do not leave any valuable space unused. Built-in wardrobes are on the whole however more expensive than their free-standing counterparts - the spaces they occupy need to be measured individually and the wardrobe crafted to fit. This requires, in better quality wardrobes, use of craftsmen to finish the fitting - and this does not come cheaply!
